CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS

 

CONTEST PERIOD:  Starting on Thursdayday, April 16th, 2015 at 12:00 A.M. and ending on Saturday, April 25th,  2015 at 11:59 P.M. EST (the Contest Period).  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. 

 

ELIGIBILITY:  To enter and be eligible to win, a person must fill out the ballot in full.  A person must be a resident of Ontario.  The following persons are NOT eligible to participate in this contest: a) a director, officer, manager, employee, or agent of Bentall Kennedy (Canada) LP b) individuals engaged in the development, production or distribution of materials for the Contest and c) any person domiciled with any of the above.

 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY:  You will need to read and accept these Rules.  Limit of one entry per person.  Entries mechanically reproduced or made in any other fashion other than the original entry form or a hand drawn facsimile are void.  Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, postage due, damaged, illegible or incomplete entries or any printing errors in these Rules.  Purchase does not enhance a person’s chance of winning.

 

PRIZE DESCRIPTION: Prize consists of five $50 Gift Cards to Tim Hortons.

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE:  Starting Thursday, April 16th, 2015, at 12:00am, shoppers may begin filling out an entry on the Eglinton Square website until Saturday April 25th, 2015 at 11:59pm.  An Eglinton Square in-house panel of Judges (the “Judges”) will select one entry from all eligible entries received.  Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant must first correctly answer a time limited, mathematical skill testing question.  Judges will attempt to contact the potential winner of the prize, between 9:00 am and 5:00pm, ES on the day of the draw, and for a period of five (5) business days following the day the winner is first declared from 9am to 5pm.  If the Judges are not able to make contact and speak directly with the selected entrant within the allotted time, then at the sole and absolute discretion of the Judges, that entrant may be disqualified, his/her entitlement to receive a prize may be forfeited, and an alternate eligible entrant may be randomly selected from remaining eligible entries.  Prize is not transferable and must be awarded with no substitution of any kind, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.  Taxes, if any, are the winner’s responsibility.

 

Entrants (i) acknowledge compliance with these Contest Rules & Regulations including all eligibility requirements and, (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the Judges, made in their sole discretion, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this contest.  Entrants who have not complied with these Contest Rules & Regulations are subject to disqualification.

 

If a potential winner is found to be ineligible or, declines to accept the prize, the prize will be forfeited.  The potential winner may be required to furnish proof of identification that may include a driver’s licence or social insurance number.  Before being declared a winner, the eligible winner may be required to sign a declaration and complete Release and Waiver form confirming understanding, acceptance and compliance with these Rules, acceptance of the prize as offered and a release acknowledging the non-responsibility of Sponsor in respect of injuries, accidents, damages, costs, expenses or losses related to the conduct of the Contest, awarding of the prize and use and enjoyment of the awarded prize.  By accepting or participating in a prize, winners consent to the use of their names, addresses, voices, statements relating to the Contest or Sponsor, and photographs or other likenesses, without further compensation, in any publicity carried out by the Sponsor and any related entities in connection with this Contest, except where prohibited by law.

 

Personal information collected from entrants will be used by the Sponsor for the purposes of administering this Contest.
